Nandani Sharma, born on September 20, 2001, in Chandigarh, is a right-arm fast-medium bowler aged 24. She has built a reputation for her ability to extract bounce and movement with the new ball, earning long-standing recognition from coaches.
Her cricketing journey progressed step by step—playing for Chandigarh Women, representing North Zone, and appearing for India B. In 2025, she led Chandigarh’s senior team and delivered standout performances at the NCA Emerging Camp, ultimately attracting the interest of WPL talent scouts.
During the 2026 auction, Delhi Capitals signed Nandani Sharma for a sum of ₹20 lakh. Her bowling pace quickly distinguished her within the squad.
She made her WPL debut a day earlier against Mumbai Indians. She took two wickets in that match. One of them was Nicola Carey. But her performance against Gujarat Giants changed everything.
