An Instagram page for NRIs shared — and later deleted — a video alleging that a restaurant in Ohio, US, was airing a pirated copy of The Raja Saab on its TV. The post, captioned “Too much ra 🙏,” quickly went viral. Meanwhile, distributor Prathyangira Cinemas confirmed the film has surpassed $2 million in US collections within two days, contributing to a worldwide gross of ₹138.30 crore.

In the wake of iBomma founder Ravi Emandi’s arrest, Hyderabad cybercrime police have shifted focus to Naveen, suspected of operating piracy hubs 5movierulz and 1tamilmv from Sri Lanka. A senior officer told TOI that camcorder versions of new films are being uploaded online, with The Raja Saab and Dhurandhar among those illegally streamed.
