Prabhas’ latest film ‘The Raja Saab’ opened to mixed reactions online despite high expectations, and reports indicate the actor has accepted a 33% pay cut for his role in the horror comedy.

Prabhas trims his paycheck for the film
The ‘Baahubali’ star, with multiple Rs 100 crore films to his credit, generally charges Rs 150 crore per project. As per News18, Prabhas has now agreed to reduce his fee by 33%, receiving around Rs 100 crore for ‘The Raja Saab’. The decision was reportedly aimed at channeling more funds into the film’s scale, including grand sets, superior VFX, and heightened production values.
Remuneration of the cast and crew
In addition to Prabhas’ remuneration, the report outlines payments to other team members. Director Maruthi is said to have taken home Rs 18 crore, Malavika Mohanan received more than Rs 2 crore, while Nidhhi Agerwal and Riddhi Kumar were paid Rs 1.5 crore and Rs 1 crore, respectively.
Alongside Prabhas’ remuneration, the report highlights payments to the rest of the team. Director Maruthi is said to have pocketed Rs 18 crore, Malavika Mohanan earned more than Rs 2 crore, while Nidhhi Agerwal and Riddhi Kumar were paid Rs 1.5 crore and Rs 1 crore each.

Missing scenes added after audience reactions
The Raja Saab’ made headlines after viewers noticed that Prabhas’ old get-up, shown in trailers and promotions, was absent in theatres. The makers have since confirmed that the missing portions—including his vintage avatar and a rooftop action sequence—have been added, along with tweaks to sharpen the film’s ending based on audience feedback.
