The horror-comedy The Raja Saab faced negative reviews and weak day-two box office numbers, prompting the makers to take a key step after its disappointing run.
On its second day in theaters, the makers of The Raja Saab restored a trailer scene that had been cut, citing a fan’s request.

The trailer featured Raja (Prabhas) as an aged man battling atop a ceiling throne—a scene initially cut but later restored to the film following fan demand.
Director Maruti Dasari confirmed reinstating the scene, explaining that fan confusion over the old man look in the trailer led him to spend the evening adding it back to enhance the film
Director Maruti Dasari described the ceiling fight scene as unique, while the producer explained that the four‑minute sequence was initially cut due to server issues but has now been restored in theaters.
The Raja Saab has a runtime of 189 minutes, with makers assuring that the newly added scene does not alter its length. The film features Prabhas, Sanjay Dutt, Zarina Wahab, and Malavika Mohanan.
