Dhurandhar experienced a slight dip on Day 13 (Wednesday). After raking in Rs 30.5 crore net on Tuesday, its collection slipped to Rs 25.5 crore. While this decline is noticeable, the film has generally maintained an upward trend in its daily earnings. Except for its first two Mondays (December 8 and 15), Dhurandhar has consistently dominated at the box office. The question now is whether this latest slowdown is a cause for concern.
Dhurandhar raked in Rs 207.25 crore net in its first week and is on track to surpass Rs 250 crore by the end of Week 2. The film joined the Rs 400 crore club in just 12 days, a remarkable feat. Many industry observers view the holiday season as an advantage for the movie, likely boosting its collections rather than letting new releases affect it. Considering its steady pace, strong word of mouth, and repeat-watch appeal, Dhurandhar remains firmly at the profitable end of the box office spectrum.

Dhurandhar Vs Avatar: Fire And Ash
James Cameron’s highly anticipated Avatar: Fire And Ash is set to hit theaters this Friday. With enormous buzz surrounding the Hollywood spectacle, and given its grandeur and visual scale designed for the big screen, Avatar 3 is expected to draw massive audiences.
This could potentially impact Dhurandhar, which currently enjoys near-total control over screens in theaters. However, evaluating Dhurandhar based on a single day’s dip would be premature. On Day 11, the film has already crossed Rs 500 crore globally and is now aiming for the rare Rs 1000 crore worldwide mark. Domestically, it has amassed around Rs 524.5 crore gross, with collections continuing to climb as we speak.
