As Ranveer Singh–starrer Dhurandhar continues its strong run at the box office, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader Iltija Mufti has praised the film, calling it engaging and well-crafted.
The daughter of PDP chief and former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Mehbooba Mufti said she found the movie interesting, highlighting that the casting was “perfection.
” What particularly stood out for Iltija was the portrayal of women in the film, noting that unlike many violent Bollywood movies, female characters were not reduced to mere props. Sharing her views on X, she wrote,
“Much outrage over Dhurandhar but I quite liked the movie & found it interesting. The casting especially is perfection. Women for once as is the case in most violent Bollywood movies weren’t used as props. Very well made.”
