DRDO Stuns Rivals—two ‘Pralay’ Missiles Fired In Salvo, Proving India’s Lethal Edge

A thunderclap for Pakistan and China: DRDO unleashed sheer destruction with the back-to-back salvo launch of two ‘Pralay’ missiles off Odisha, proving India’s strike power is unstoppable.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh roared with praise for DRDO, the Indian Air Force, the Indian Army, DPSUs, and industry after the breathtaking twin salvo launch of ‘Pralay’ missiles.
He declared the rapid-fire success a monumental leap in India’s strike capability, showcasing unmatched precision and power.
The back-to-back launch from a single launcher off Odisha was hailed as a thunderous demonstration of India’s military dominance.
Singh emphasized that the test has firmly stamped the ‘Pralay’ missile’s reliability, leaving no room for doubt about its lethal effectiveness.
This spectacular achievement sends a chilling reminder to adversaries that India’s defense arsenal is both dependable and devastating.

The Ministry of Defence (MoD) reported that at around 10:30 hrs, a flight test was carried out as part of user evaluation trials. Both missiles successfully adhered to their planned trajectory and achieved all mission objectives, with tracking sensors at the Integrated Test Range in Chandipur confirming the results. Telemetry systems onboard a ship near the impact zone further validated the terminal events.

‘Pralay’ is an indigenously designed quasi-ballistic missile powered by solid propellant, equipped with advanced guidance and navigation systems to deliver exceptional accuracy. It can be armed with different types of warheads to strike diverse targets.

The development of the ‘Pralay’ missile was spearheaded by Research Centre Imarat, Hyderabad, with extensive contributions from DRDO laboratories, production partners Bharat Dynamics Limited and Bharat Electronics Limited, and several Indian industries, showcasing India’s integrated defense ecosystem.
