Nayanthara’s first look as Ganga in Toxic
Yash unveiled Nayanthara’s first look as Ganga from Toxic – A Fairy Tale For Grown-Ups on social media. The poster depicts her stepping through a doorway with a firearm, flanked by two men holding the door and others standing guard
Nayanthara appears in a black dress with a high slit and thigh-high boots, locking eyes with the camera. Her husband, filmmaker Vignesh Shivan, re-shared the poster on Instagram, captioning it with “Wow” and emojis of admiration. The makers, in a press note, described Ganga as a woman who commands the room and makes her own decisions.

Director Geetu Mohandas said she wanted to showcase Nayanthara in a way never seen before. As the shoot unfolded, she realized Nayanthara’s personality naturally embodied Ganga’s essence. “It wasn’t imitation, it was alignment,” she noted, adding that she discovered her perfect Ganga and a dear friend in the process.
